The entire NASCAR community will be descending on Miami next week for Ford Championship Weekend, November 14-16. At that time, the champions for all three of NASCAR’s series will be crowned at Homestead-Miami Speedway, including the Sprint Cup Series Champion following the Ford EcoBoost 400 on Sunday, November 16.
That weekend will get underway a day before the start of racing as Homestead-Miami Speedway will host a Championship Week Party on Thursday, November 13 at the Fillmore Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach. The event will start at 9:00 p.m. and go until 1:00 a.m. Many of the key players throughout NASCAR, including drivers, members of the various race teams and industry executives are scheduled to attend. The party will be complete with a red carpet, across which many of the celebrities will walk.
The event is being held in conjunction with NASCAR, ISC, Budweiser, Coke, Bacardi, MAHLE, Monster Energy and PrimeSport.
“This event is indicative of the magnitude of our Ford Championship Weekend, particularly the Sprint Cup Series Championship race on Sunday,” said Homestead-Miami Speedway President Matthew Becherer. “Many of the industry’s top personalities are expected to be there, and it should be a great way to start a fun and exciting weekend for our fans.”
