Growing Together: Sta-Green to Sponsor July 12 Nationwide Series Race

New Hampshire Motor Speedway officials announced today that the 25th running of the NASCAR Nationwide Series race on Saturday, July 12 will be entitled the Sta-Green 200. Available exclusively at Lowe’s stores nationwide and providing consumers with exceptional performance at an affordable price with over 40 lawn care products available, Sta-Green is a perfect fit for New Hampshire Motor Speedway, which offers fans premium racing at an affordable value.

NASCAR’s premier subdivision features the future stars of tomorrow’s national division – the Sprint Cup Series. Current points leader Regan Smith has been the most consistent driver in 2014, but it’s 18-year-old Chase Elliott who has turned the most heads, so far.

Elliott, who leads all full-time Nationwide drivers with two wins this season, will look to become the first rookie to ever win a Nationwide Series start at New Hampshire, and the first full-time Nationwide Series driver since Martin Truex Jr. (2005) to bring his car to New Hampshire’s Victory Lane.

Kyle Busch has won four of the last five Nationwide Series races at NHMS.

The Sta-Green 200 will drop the green flag at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 12

, and will be featured on ESPN2 and can be heard on PRN affiliates. The Sta-Green 200 will be preceded by NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour qualifying for the New Hampshire 100 at 8:00 a.m.; NASCAR Nationwide Series qualifying for the Sta-Green 200 at 10:05 a.m.; and the running of the New Hampshire 100 at 1:00 p.m.
