One of the most popular questions Kansas Speedway President Patrick Warren has been asked over the last few months is ‘when are you going to get a night race?’ The answer – Friday, Oct. 7 with the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards Kansas Lottery 98.9.
“I’m excited to partner with the Kansas Lottery and 98.9 the Rock on our first night race at Kansas Speedway,” said Warren. “The Kansas Lottery 98.9 promises to provide our fans with lots of memories.”
“The Kansas Lottery is very proud to be co-sponsoring the first night race at Kansas Speedway,” said Kansas Lottery Executive Director Dennis Wilson. “It will add additional excitement to a weekend that’s already exciting, including the chance for Kansas Lottery players to win an official Kansas Speedway Pace Car, a Ford Mustang GT, before the Hollywood Casino 400 on Sunday.”
Tickets to the Kansas Lottery 98.9 are part of 98.9 the Rock’s low dough promotion and will be just $9.89 and 98.9 the Rock’s Johnny Dare will lead the field to the green on his Harley motorcycle.
“We really appreciate Kansas Speedway giving The Rock’s listeners the chance to see the first night race for just $9.89,” said Dare. “Besides the ARCA race under the lights, we’ll have lots of other surprises to make the whole night a party!”
Race time for the Kansas Lottery 98.9 is set for 7:30 PM (CT) and will cap off a busy day of ARCA practice and qualifying, NASCAR Nationwide Series practice, and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series practice and qualifying.
