Harvick To Kick Off Green Flag Garage Pre-Race Fan Expereience Sept. 14

Chicagoland Speedway today announced Kevin Harvick, fresh off of a win at Phoenix International Raceway that all but assures a Chase berth, will appear in the Green Flag Garage this September for a question-and-answer session. The Green Flag Garage is a new, premium fan experience bringing fans into the center of the action ahead of the first race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

In addition to visiting with the driver of the No. 4 for Stewart-Haas Racing, a select group of fans will also have the opportunity to set foot in areas that were previously restricted at Chicagoland Speedway, including a guided tour of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series garages.

Located in the NASCAR Nationwide Series garage (Turn 1), the Green Flag Garage experience includes a Sprint Cup Garage Tour, NASCAR Hauler walk-through, driver appearances, a meal to provide the complete tailgating experience and a Fan Zone Pit Pass ($50 value). The Fan Zone Pit Pass grants access to the Infield Fan Zone for the drivers’ red carpet walk, pre-race concerts, driver question-and-answer sessions, pre-race Gatorade Victory Lane access and more. It also serves as a pit pass, your chance to visit your favorite driver’s pit box before the start of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

Open on Sunday, Sept. 14 from 9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., the Green Flag Garage gives fans a chance to start race day near NASCAR’s teams and drivers. Due to space restrictions, only a limited number of tickets will be sold.

Along with a new infield fan zone experience, improved garage viewing areas, wider bench seating, revamped shuttle plazas and the addition of new restrooms, the Green Flag Garage continues the commitment to making Chicagoland Speedway a premier sports and entertainment destination.
