Texas Motor Speedway Partners With PrimeSport To Create Ultimate Sports Weekend

Rather than viewing the NCAA Final Four in Arlington as direct competition to its Duck Commander 500 NASCAR doubleheader weekend the first week of April, Texas Motor Speedway is embracing the event to provide sports fans with the ultimate weekend.

Texas Motor Speedway is partnering with PrimeSport, the leader in providing direct access to the biggest sporting events, to provide both fans living and visiting the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex with the rare opportunity to check off two major sporting events off their bucket lists from April 5-7.

PrimeSport has constructed ticket packages that will allow sports fans to take in the Duck Commander 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race – the largest-attended, single-day sporting event in Texas – on Sunday, April 6, and sandwich the NCAA Final Four men’s basketball semifinals on Saturday, April 5, and championship on Monday, April 7, at AT&T Stadium around the stock car racing spectacle.

Texas Motor Speedway also adjusted its 2014 race weekend schedule to avoid any direct conflict with the basketball games and provide the ultimate weekend for both fans and visiting sponsors and their special guests. Typically, the April Sprint Cup race at Texas Motor Speedway is a Saturday evening race, but the race has been moved to Sunday afternoon just for this year.

“This is going to be a fantastic weekend for fans, sponsors and companies to have a full slate of events that weekend,” Texas Motor Speedway President Eddie Gossage said. “It is the perfect opportunity to take advantage of this rare opportunity where two major sports are showcasing their best events, in the same market, over the span of a few days. I couldn’t think of a better way for everyone to mark these two events off of their bucket list.”

The PrimeSport package includes one premium frontstretch ticket to the Duck Commander 500 (PL 407-416 or PL 107-116, row 11 or above) on Sunday, April 6, and one upper-level side court ticket (ticket upgrades are available) to both NCAA semifinal games on Saturday, April 5, and the National Championship on Monday, April 7.

In addition to the tickets, the package includes a four-night accommodation at the Embassy Suites Dallas-Market Center from April 4 through April 8 and a variety of amenities at the hotel, Texas Motor Speedway and AT&T Stadium. Roundtrip deluxe motorcoach transfers are available to each facility for the events as well as a daily shuttle service to Bracket Town at the Dallas Convention Center and other Final Four-related venues.

The ticket to the Duck Commander 500 includes a pre-race credential that grants cold pit access up until one hour before the start of the race as well as access on the track for the pre-race concert from a yet-to-be-announced headliner act and driver introductions. At AT&T Stadium, fans will be given access to the official in-stadium VIP hospitality presented by PrimeSport.

The Final Four & NASCAR Combo package is available for parties up to four, all of which include just one Embassy Suites room. The Single (one guest, one room) is $3,325, the Double (two guests, one room) is $2,895 per guest, the Triple is $2,815 per guest and the Quad is $2,775 per guest.

Area fans that do not need accommodations can purchase a ticket-only package for $1,500 per guest that still includes VIP Hospitality at AT&T Stadium as well as admission to Bracket Town. The Final Four & NASCAR Combo and ticket-only packages may be purchased online at www.primesport.com/TexasSpringRace/home or by calling (800) 591-9198.
