Darlington Raceway is once again giving its fans the opportunity to receive ultimate access during pre-race ceremonies for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Bojangles’ Southern 500 on April 12.
The track’s Daytona 500 special ticket package, which kicks off on Saturday, Feb. 15, will give fans the ability to watch Sprint Cup Series driver introductions and a concert from in front of the pre-race stage.
To receive this extraordinary access, fans need to purchase a ticket to the Bojangles’ Southern 500 up until the checkered flag of the Daytona 500 on Sunday, Feb. 23.
“This is one of our best offers of the year, which gives fans unprecedented access to our pre-race concert and driver introductions,” Darlington Raceway President Chip Wile said. “We encourage fans to purchase a ticket to the Bojangles’ Southern 500 during the week of the Daytona 500 and experience pre-race ceremonies from the best seat in the house!”
The offer begins on Saturday in conjunction with the track’s viewing party, scheduled for 7 p.m. at Buffalo Wild Wings in Florence, S.C. The party officially kicks off the 2014 NASCAR season when the series competes in the Sprint Unlimited at Daytona International Speedway. The event will be broadcast live on FOX Sports 1.
Darlington is again teaming up with partners Crown Beverages, Eagle 92.9 FM and WBTW CBS 13 to kick off the season by hosting the fan favorite party. The event is free and open to the public.
The viewing party will feature food and drink specials courtesy of Buffalo Wild Wings and Crown Beverages and also give fans who attend the chance to win tickets, pit passes and pre-race ceremony wristbands, along with other prizes and giveaways.
