Petty, Allison, Jarrett Featured at Toyota/Save Mart 350

Race fans will be treated to history at the Toyota/Save Mart 350 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series weekend at Infineon Raceway, June 24-26, with the Legends in Sonoma program.

Three of the biggest names in NASCAR history will be featured throughout the race weekend: Bobby Allison, Ned Jarrett and Richard Petty.

It’s all designed to bring race fans a bit closer to the some of the biggest names in the sport; Allison, Jarrett and Petty are all members of the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

Race fans can catch Allison and Jarrett at an autograph session/Q&A session on Friday in the Wine Country Winner’s Circle at 1 p.m. (PT). The trio will also be featured during a very special Q&A session on race day, Sunday, June 26, during pre-event ceremonies.

Allison and Jarrett will also make an appearance at Club 7, the all-new trackside bar and lounge at Infineon Raceway, situated above Turn 7 on the road course.  You can catch them at 9:45 a.m. (PT) on Sunday. Upgrades to Club 7 are available for $29-$39 per person.

Petty, better known as “The King,” is a seven-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion, winning a record 200 races during his career, including the Daytona 500 a record seven times and a record 27 races (10 of them consecutively) in the 1967 season alone.

Allison, the 1983 NASCAR Cup Series champion, is a three-time winner of the Daytona 500 and his son, Davey, won in Sonoma in 1991.

Jarrett is a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion with 50 career victories, including an impressive 28 wins during the 1964 and ’65 seasons.  Jarrett was named one of NASCAR’s “50 Greatest Drivers” in 1998.
