Richmond International Raceway Rolls Out Kids Pricing for EVERY Grandstand

Continuing its commitment to the fan experience, Richmond International Raceway is introducing special youth pricing in all of its grandstands for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races, beginning with the April 26, 2014, TOYOTA OWNERS 400. Kids 12 and younger will be admitted at $25 off the adult price in every grandstand, allowing families to save money, while enjoying the race from any grandstand they choose.

“As an extension of our long-standing and successful family initiatives, we want to make it even easier for families to enjoy the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series action at America’s Premier Short Track,” said RIR President Dennis Bickmeier. “As a parent of three young children, I know how big of a commitment it is to bring a family to events, and here at RIR, we want your family to save a few dollars when they experience some of the best racing in the country. And that’s why we are rolling out a savings for kids’ tickets in every grandstand at RIR.”

In addition to this new, fan-friendly perk, RIR continues to offer the Virginia529 College Savings Plan Family Section in Colonial E, where alcohol is prohibited. Pricing for kids 12 and younger are even lower in this special section.

For years, RIR has admitted kids 12 and younger free of charge, when accompanied by a ticketed adult, for its NASCAR Nationwide Series races, and that policy continues with the April 25, 2014, ToyotaCare 250.
