Homestead-Miami Speedway today announced that it is expanding its partnership with iconic marine wildlife artist Guy Harvey. The partnership includes a series of activities surrounding Ford Championship Weekend (Nov. 15-17). Track President Matthew Becherer made the announcement.
Widely recognized as the world’s finest marine life artist, Harvey’s work will be featured during each of the three season-ending races in NASCAR’s top three national series (Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series).
§ This year’s Ford Championship Weekend official souvenir program again features the artwork of the renowned artist and conservationist. The cover includes a sailfish superimposed on an image of the Homestead-Miami Speedway frontstretch alongside NASCAR’s top national touring series championship trophies that will be awarded after each contest. It will be on sale throughout race weekend at the speedway.
§ Dr. Harvey’s art can also be seen by way of a giant seascape installation in Turn 1. It’s located at the bottom Sections 180-200, where seats were removed due to the fact that spectators couldn’t see a majority of the track following the 18-20 degree banking that was added in 2003.
§ Harvey’s designs are also available on commemorative posters, T-shirts and travel cups that will be for sale at Homestead-Miami Speedway, both during race weekend and throughout the year. Proceeds from the sales of these items will be donated to the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation and Homestead-Miami Speedway’s Driving for a Cause Foundation.
§ Additionally, NASCAR stock cars that include Guy Harvey Custom Wraps have been on display during Homestead-Miami Speedway community appearances throughout Florida.

Additionally, fans can enjoy his one-of-a-kind designs with a keepsake in the commemorative program, a shirt that they can wear, and even during the race itself with the Turn 1 piece.”
