SportsFanExpress teams up with Iowa Speedway to reduce traffic with bus pick-up locations

SportsFanExpress has partnered with Iowa Speedway to provide NASCAR fans a transportation solution during the US Cellular presented by Enlist Weed Control Systems(TM) 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series on Saturday, August 6th.

Packages for race-day transportation and reserved-seat tickets start at just $79, with round-trip transportation available from Ames, Ankeny, West Des Moines, South Des Moines, Dubuque, Cedar Rapids, Davenport, Iowa City, Lincoln, NE and Omaha, NE.  The service allows fans to purchase roundtrip bus only tickets from $29 – $49 per person.

SportsFanExpress has partnered with Hy-Vee Supermarkets and will have pickup locations from specific  stores. Buses will depart between 9:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m., depending on location, and fans will enjoy videos, easy access to seating areas and a remedy to soaring gas prices.

SportsFanExpress Director Bob Aube explained that this enterprise of coupling race tickets with transportation is gaining momentum. SportsFanExpress offers similar programs for local college football games, NFL teams and ski resorts. With stadiums and sporting events raising their parking fees and gas heading to $5 a gallon, it makes sense to “Ride the Bus”, claims Aube.

“We are happy to work with SportsFanExpress on this new service allowing fans a new mode to arrive at the Iowa Speedway,” said Justin Sauser, Ticket Manager for Iowa Speedway. “SportsFanExpress allows fans to purchase individual tickets online, at a great price where fans can relax and enjoy the ride.”
