Campgrounds at Atlanta Motor Speedway Open Saturday for Race Weekend

With the AdvoCare 500 weekend still over a week away, campers will begin emerging this week in preparation for this Saturday’s campground openings at Atlanta Motor Speedway which begin at 8 a.m.

Unreserved RV camping spots located off Speedway Boulevard are $60 and can be purchased at the entrance to the campgrounds on a first-come-first-served basis.  Spaces in the unreserved Tent and Pop Up Camping surrounding the lake near turn 4 is $100 and can also be purchased upon arrival.

Reserved camping credentials and tow-passes can be purchased at the Atlanta Motor Speedway ticket office and all vehicles must have camping credentials or a tow pass to enter campgrounds.

Campers are also reminded that a minimum of two AdvoCare 500 tickets must be presented to enter campgrounds. Tickets will be available for purchase at the ticket office for campers who have not yet secured their race tickets.

A very limited number of camping spaces are available for fans that prefer to watch the race from the comfort of an infield campsite. An infield Flock Brothers RV camping site is $300 while an infield High Speed Corral tent site is $200.

A limited number of Trackside Terrace camping sites remain for the weekend and are the only camping spaces still available that include full RV hook-ups.  Trackside Terrace spots that overlook the Speedway backstretch and include 10 admission passes, which allow pit access, start at $2,500.

While outside campgrounds open on Saturday, August 24th, infield and trackside camping locations will open on Thursday, August 29th at 2:00 p.m.
