RCR Bolsters Partnership Marketing, Business Development Staff

Richard Childress Racing has strengthened its business support staff with recent additions to its partnership marketing and business development units.

Lauren Hoffmann and Michael Humlan have been named partnership marketing managers. Shane Miller has been named manager of business development.

“Richard Childress Racing continues to strengthen its front office with people committed to going beyond expectations,” said Ben Schlosser, senior vice president of business operations for Richard Childress Racing. “Whether it’s fulfilling the needs of our existing partner relationships or creating new business opportunities, the overall focus of RCR’s business unit is to provide our partners with unmatched service in the motorsports industry.”

Hoffmann and Humlan will work with current RCR partners on their programs as well as creating new initiatives. Hoffmann joins RCR after previous experience with the Professional Bull Riders (PBR), Wasserman Media Group (with the NASCAR Nationwide Series program), and the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sports management from Elon University and a master’s degree in sports administration from Ohio University. Humlan joined RCR after serving in multiple positions with Octagon Sports Marketing after beginning his motorsports career at Virginia International Raceway. He is a graduate of James Madison University with a bachelor’s degree in sports management.

Miller will work closely with Schlosser and Rick Penn, RCR’s managing director of business development. He has extensive business development experience as a top sales executive working in the highly competitive industries of business to business (B2B) payroll/staffing, healthcare, and marketing and advertising. MIller earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Palm Beach Atlantic University and played basketball on scholarship at California State University, Chico. He also played professionally in the Euroleague from 2000-2003 and was named most valuable player in 2002.
