The green flag has waved, the 2012 Fireball Run is off and running. After kicking off in Independence, Ohio with the final destination of Bangor, Maine; the tour stops in Waterbury, Connecticut on Thursday. The Fireball Run is not just any other car rally; this is rooted in charity to push awareness for missing children. Each car is adorned with pictures of missing children throughout the United States.
While in Waterbury, the fans and participants will be greeted by 15-year-old Legends racer Joey Mucciacciaro. “Mooch” will be in downtown Waterbury signing autographs from 3:30 to 5:30 pm and his car will also be there.
“I look forward to meeting the fans,” Mucciacciaro said. “Going to an event like the Fireball Run, it’s for charity and that means a lot to me.”
