OSRAM SYLVANIA and New Hampshire Motor Speedway Celebrate 10th Anniversary of SYLVANIA 300 With NASCAR® VIP Experience Giveaway

Racing fans will be rooting for their favorite drivers in the Chase for the NASCAR® Sprint Cup and now they might be able to celebrate with them in person. Today marks the 10th anniversary of the SYLVANIA 300, the second race in the Chase, and North American lighting leader OSRAM SYLVANIA and New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) are celebrating by launching a Facebook contest sure to appeal to any race fan. Now until October 2, NASCAR enthusiasts can go to the site to answer daily trivia questions related to lighting, OSRAM SYLVANIA and the SYLVANIA 300 for a chance to win a trip to attend the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards in Las Vegas this November.

  • The VIP NASCAR Experience Giveaway Prize Package, being provided by NHMS, includes:
  • Round-trip airfare for two from anywhere in the continental United States to Las Vegas
  • Three-day, three-night stay at Wynn Las Vegas and Encore Hotel for two
  • Two tickets to the NASCAR NMPA Myers Brothers Luncheon and After the Lap Party on Thursday, November 29
  • Two tickets to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards Ceremony™ on Friday, November 30

Each day of the contest, one person will win a SYLVANIA 300 Prize Pack, which includes an official SYLVANIA 300 race hat, a SYLVANIA T-shirt, a NHMS hat and T-shirt, a 2011 SYLVANIA 300 flashback Hero Card and a variety of SYLVANIA lighting products, including the long-life, energy efficient SYLVANIA ULTRA LED A-line omnidirectional light bulb. The daily winners will then be eligible for the grand prize trip to Las Vegas.

The SYLVANIA 300 routinely draws crowds of more than 100,000 to NHMS, the only superspeedway in the six-state New England region and the largest sporting facility in the area. In 2011, Tony Stewart won the SYLVANIA 300 and went on to claim the Sprint Cup championship two months later.
