Nissin Cup Noodles returns with INDYCAR drivers Takuma Sato and Graham Rahal as Brand Ambassadors

Nissin Foods (USA) Co., Inc. announced today that Cup Noodles has expanded its line-up of motorsport brand ambassadors to include both Takuma Sato and Graham Rahal throughout the entire 2022 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season, with each driver serving a unique position in the marketplace.

Nissin’s initial involvement in 2019 was the first motorsports sponsorship for the company in its 50-year history in the U.S. Nissin wanted to celebrate this partnership through the promotion of one of its flagship brands, Cup Noodles. The CupNoodles logo can be found on the race suits of the two-time Indianapolis 500 Winner Takuma Sato, along with a visible position on Graham Rahal’s season-long helmet livery.

“After a very successful 50th anniversary last year, the Nissin team is excited to expand our partnership to reach an expanding consumer base for the Cup Noodles brand,” said Michael Price, President and CEO, Nissin Foods (USA). “Graham and Takuma represent the very best in racing. Their individual desire to win and to push for excellence align perfectly with the spirit on which Cup Noodles was founded: Be original, be innovative and be bold.”

“We’ve been building our relationship with Nissin Foods and Cup Noodles for a couple years and I am pleased to continue the growth in to 2022,” said Graham Rahal. “What started out as support for our foundation’s fundraising efforts has developed into a partnership that I am genuinely excited to see expand in both our racing and charitable spaces.”

“It’s great to have an iconic brand like Cup Noodles back supporting my INDYCAR efforts again this season,” said Takuma Sato, the 2-time Indy 500 winner. “Cup Noodles is a quick and easy meal that I’ve enjoyed for many years at home and the racetrack. I’m honored to continue as a brand ambassador with Nissin Foods and the Cup Noodles brand and appreciate all their support.”
