Big points for Solaris Motorsport in Czech Republic

Another great performance for Solaris Motorsport in this 2019 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series Season, also in Czech Republic the Italian team showed an impressive pace being protagonist of the weekend. In a very hot track and in front of a big crowd, Francesco Sini conquered the sixth place in the ELITE 1 Race 1, while Naveh Talor ended his comeback in Race 2 at the eighth position, bringing home important points that leads the young Israeli rookie very close to the Top10 in the overall standings.

“The sixth place in Race 1 is a great boost for us, it’s a good result in a so competitive championship. We are working in the right way and the results are  proving that.” commented Francesco Sini, firmly protagonist in the ELITE 1 Division. “Race 2 was a pity, an engine issue stopped us in early race. We could bring home another good results, we did a setup change and it was working. We will try again in Hockenheim.

“First of all I have to say I love to drive the track at Most. This weekend was a big unknown for everyone because it was a new track, we wanted to work hard in the practice sessions to get the best setup and feeling. My qualifying was good but was very unlucky with traffic and red flag and I ended just outside the SuperPole. In Race 1 I had a really good start and was able to climb up to 8th from 13th. After the restart, I was pushed out at 200 kph and my weekend risked to be over.” said Naveh Talor, that wants to thank all the Solaris Motorsport guys to have managed to fix the car during the night. “It was unbelievable, they did an amazing job. I want to dedicate my comeback from 16th to 8th to them and their efforts. I’m sorry we couldn’t do better, we had the pace to be sixth. Overall in the weekend I felt much more confident in the car and am always improving. I know that soon I can be even faster as I am learning more and more every time in my first season in cars.”

After the halfway race of the season, the 2019 of Solaris Motorsport will resume in September with the PlayOffs that will distribute double points. The historic track of Hockenheim, the same where Francesco Sini was crowned 2014 EuroV8 Series Champion, will host the SemiFinals scheduled from 20th to 22th September.
