Chevrolet Paint’s The Curbs Pink at Martinsville Speedway

Chevrolet has made available for media use high-definition video interviews with Kasey Kahne and Jamie McMurray, interviews with Frank Dalton and Sheilah Gilliam, breast cancer survivors, b-roll footage and event photography of today’s event at Martinsville Speedway where Chevrolet in conjunction with Martinsville Speedway and the American Cancer Society “Paint the Curbs Pink.”

This is an annual event that Chevrolet hosts with Martinsville Speedway and the American Cancer Society where breast cancer survivors paint the iconic curbs of the 0.526-mile, paper-clip shaped track pink to bring attention and raise awareness for the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” campaign.

In partnership with the American Cancer Society for the eighth consecutive season, Chevrolet is participating in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events (MSABC) at both Talladega Superspeedway and today at Martinsville Speedway ‘painting the curbs pink’. Chevrolet will pace at both Talladega and Martinsville with a pink Chevrolet Camaro SS pace car. For every lap the pink pace car “leads” the field under caution, Chevrolet will donate $350 per lap (up to $50,000) to the MSABC program.
