Lessard to Race The Winchester 100 One of His Favorite Tracks on Labor Day Monday

Raphaël Lessard kicks off the month of September with the Labour Day Monday Winchester 100 race, on the half-mile oval of the Winchester Speedway in Indiana. With its steep 37-degree banked turns, the Winchester Speedway  is unique in the United States.

This race is the first of five in September and October for Raphaël and it is on this track that he will finish this five-race series on October 8th with the famous Winchester 400. At the 2016 Winchester 400, Lessard, one of the fastest on the track, was an innocent casualty in an accident generated by the two race leaders in front of him while he was in 3rd place. So this Labour Day Weekend Winchester 100 will serve as preparation for the big October race for the Toyota Racing Development program (TRD) driver.

It will be a busy weekend for local racing enthusiasts in Winchester as seven different series will race throughout the weekend, with the highlight being the Winchester 100 of the Super Series ARCA / CRA Monday at 1:30 pm.

The 100-lap race will be broadcast live online at Speed51.com (pay-per-view). You can also follow Raphaël’s on track performances, at minimal cost and in real time, on Race-Monitor.com. Look for the Winchester 100 in their listing.
