MMR: Spencer Davis to Make First Start with Martin-McClure Racing at United Site Services 70

The Martin-McClure Racing team is preparing for the next race on the schedule as the busy summer months press on. Teams are traveling to New Hampshire Motor Speedway to compete in the United Site Services 70, the ninth of fourteen races on the series’ schedule.

Martin-McClure Racing is happy to welcome Spencer Davis to its roster of talented drivers as he makes his first start with the MMR organization piloting the No.13 Overstock Mercantile entry. Davis will be under direction of Crew Chief Matt Webber for this event.

New Hampshire Motor Speedway is a one-mile oval with an asphalt racing surface and is the largest track that the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East competes at as part of their schedule.

Eric McClure:

“This will be our second showing as a team at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. I remember watching Spencer Davis on track last year and his speed stood out to me. I’m glad that we were able to put this deal together as we continue our full-season campaign as a team, and am excited for the opportunity to add another talented driver to our team’s driver line-up.”
Hal Martin:

“We’re happy to welcome Spencer Davis to our team for the upcoming race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. He’s done a lot of driving in ARCA and in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and has shown consistent speed everywhere he’s gone. I look forward to showcasing his talent and our equipment at the United Site Services 70.”

Spencer Davis:

“I’m really excited to be racing for MMR at New Hampshire. We’ve been in contact for a year and I’m glad to finally have the opportunity to work together. After spending time in the shop with the guys for a day I feel like we’ve all gelled really well hanging out and I’m anxious to work with Crew Chief Matt Weber. The whole organization as a whole is really strong and professional so I’m hoping to continue their strong stride and contend for a win. I can’t thank Hal Martin and Eric McClure enough for the opportunity.”
