Rev Racing heads to Greenville Pickens After Season Opener at New Smyrna Speedway

This Saturday, Rev Racing will return to competition at Greenville Pickens Speedway for the Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 150. The Speedway invites drivers to a new track experience this year, having paved both corners of the .500-mile semi-banked asphalt oval for the 2017 season. The NASCAR Drive for Diversity class is looking for redemption after experiencing several mechanical issues during their first race of the year at New Smyrna Speedway.

Chase Cabre (No. 4 Braille Battery Toyota):
Rookie driver, Chase Cabre, had an impressive season opening performance at New Smyrna Speedway, starting 9th and finishing 12th.  Cabre and team will aim for a top-10 finish at Greenville.

Rubén García Jr. (No. 6 NTI/MSI): Garcia will head into this second race of the year, sitting 16th in points due an issue with his fuel pump in New Smyrna. Despite the lengthy break in the K&N East season schedule, Garcia has spent a lot of time behind the wheel. Garcia has been racing in the NASCAR Peak Mexico Series, where most recently he won the pole and finished 7th in the season opener.

Jay Beasley (No. 42 Hart to Heart Breast Cancer Foundation Toyota): Beasley heads into the second race of the season with an 18th position in points due to a blown motor in the first race. Beasley, does have an advantage heading into this upcoming race, having garnered a 4th place finish the last time he raced at Greenville. Beasley has also had additional seat time, racing his Super Late Model at The Bullring at LVMS for a second place finish in the NASCAR Super Late Model series.

Collin Cabre (No. 2 UTI/NTI Toyota): Cabre, who experienced a broken axle in the first race, is aiming for a top-5 finish in Greenville. Cabre is fresh off a 6th place finish in NASCAR Whelen All-American Series at the reopening of Langley Speedway this past weekend. He raced for additional track time and as a dedication to the late Dave Steele. Teammates, Maddie Crane finished p10 and Macy Causey p16.

All drivers are looking forward to a test day on Friday, which will allow the drivers and crew to acquire more data and get as much seat time as possible before the green flag falls. The teams hope to add another win at Greenville along side of Rev Racing alumni driver, Darrell Wallace Jr.

Rev Racing will get back to the track on Saturday, April 8th, 2017 at Greenville Pickens Speedway. Group qualifying will begin at 4:15 pm, followed by the autograph session at 6:00 pm and the Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 150 at 7:00 pm EST.
