The Mom’s Choice Awards recently announced Funny Dan the Race Car Man by Tim Packman, illustrated by Brendan Sellaro, has received a Silver Award for Best General Fiction for Ages 9-12. Also, the Reader’s Favorites gave it Five Stars, out of five, during their review released Nov. 28, 2011.
Funny Dan the Race Car Man, a title in the NASCAR Library Collection, is published by Headline Books, the Independent Publisher of the Year in 2010, of Terra Alta, W.Va., which now has 14 titles with Mom’s Choice Awards.
Funny Dan is a story about a NASCAR driver who competes for the pure joy of being involved in something he loves.
