Scott Adams Heading South to Bristol Motor Speedway

Scott Adams of Lake Ariel, PA has accomplished many feats in his ten plus year short track racing career. From a multitude of victories at numerous asphalt tracks throughout the northeast to a track championship at Pennsylvania’s Evergreen Raceway, Adams is stoked about bringing in the 2017 season, louder, harder and faster than ever before, as one of his first events this year will be at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday, May 20.

For Adams, making the nine hour haul with his racecar and crew is a no brainer.

“Having the opportunity to compete at Bristol is a dream come true for so many short track racers like me”, said Adams when he reflected on the terrific opportunity to turn laps at the world’s fastest half-mile.

“We have the car figured out and this season we’re coming out in full force and will run harder, louder and faster than what we have in the past.”

Ironically, one of the team’s biggest supporters, the band WARRANT, is set to release their new CD, entitled ‘Louder, Harder, Faster’ on May 12. The short track racing and rock n roll association between the two are a perfect fit.

Also a perfect fit for Adams is the team’s ongoing relationship with multi-platinum recording band, FireHouse. It just so happens that Michael Foster, who is the drummer from the popular band is an avid race fan and released a song called ‘Door to Door’ on their ‘Prime Time’ album.

“To be able to go down there and represent all of these artists and my committed sponsors is an absolute honor”, said Adams, who grew up at local racetracks watching his father, Mike and uncle Mitch compete in multiple divisions.

“This season is all about being competitive, having a good time and racing at as many tracks as possible. We’ll see how it all turns out.”
