Chris Lafferty Productions is pleased to announce that motorsports artist Sam Bass and NASCAR driver Chris Lafferty have inked a deal with ESPN Radio to host a new racing-themed talk show, aptly named The Sam and Chris Show.
The show will be prerecorded and will air each Saturday, beginning February 11 at 11 a.m. ET on ESPN Charlotte 730 AM. Listeners will also be able to tune in on the ESPN Charlotte website (espncharlotte.net).
“Sam has been a friend of mine for a long time, and it is very fitting for us to work together,” Lafferty said, who also noted his admiration for Bass as a storyteller of the sport’s most historical moments through more than 36 years of artwork.
“I’m excited to do this show. Chris and I have a great working relationship and a lot of common interests; I think the listeners will hear that,” Bass said.
The Sam and Chris show will bring a different perspective to the traditional radio talk show. Fun and energetic, listeners will get a unique insight from the drawing table to the driver’s seat. The hosts and their guests will cover hot racing topics with some classic rock talk thrown in as the two share a keen mutual interest in music across the board.
