Jim Sauter, Jr. Ready for Oktoberfest 2016

Aside from starting his own team and even with a late start to the 2014 Super Late Model racing season, Jim Sauter, Jr. of Tomah, WI is ready and set to make a go at it for the 47th annual running of Oktoberfest at LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway this weekend.

“Although we’ve had horrible luck this season, we had some really great runs there in the past. Still, I can’t be more proud of my team for all of their effort this season and we’d all love to end this one on a high note”, stated Sauter.

He and his team plan to race the JE Pistons Dick Trickle 99 on Friday, October 7 and then run qualifying and heats with the ARCA Midwest Tour on Saturday, the 8th. The busy race weekend will conclude with the Budweiser ARCA Midwest Tour Oktoberfest 200 on Sunday, the 8th.

Sauter’s  best Oktoberfest finish was a seventh place effort in 2014. Last season he had handling issues in the late going and parked his ride to finish in the 23rd spot.

With his #45 Sauter-Cole Racing Team on hand for the weekend, Sauter’s determined to put a great end to the season and gear up for 2017.

The entire Sauter-Cole Racing Team would like to thank all of those on board this season, including Don’s Auto, Gawronski Signs, Trent Alderman, Zoellick Home Repair, K&K Accounting, Inc, Fun Time Day Care, Shawn Rentmeester Trucking, Tyler Jett Motorsports Marketing and the band WARRANT.
