A first for Raphael Lessard

With a third win this season in the harvested CARS series there two weeks at Myrtle Beach Speedway in South Carolina, Raphael Lessard will be behind the wheel again this weekend, on 1 and 2 October, this time in Nashville (Tennessee), the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway for the 32nd All American 400 presented by Freeman-WebbCompanies.This race does not count in the championship of the CARS Super Late Model Tour in which Raphael Lessard still leads the drivers’ championship. The All-American 400 is the 4th of 6 races out championship plans to make Raphael thisseason

It will be for the young driver from St-Joseph de Beauce, a first career in a race of 400 laps with pit stops. 41 drivers will try to earn a spot among the 32 available on the starting grid for Sunday’s final, 2 October. Raphael could enjoy the track Tuesday, September 27th for a day of testing.

The oval of the Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville has a length of 0959 km(0596miles) with inclinations of 18 degrees in curves and 3 degrees on the straights. The circuit, which has existed since 1904, has hosted horse racing, motorcycles and cars on clay until 1958, when it was paved. NASCAR Winston Cup races are held there from 1958 to1984.
