Michael Waltrip will be hosting a fan appreciation day and memorabilia sale at his racing facility in Cornelius, N.C. on Friday, October 7, 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. The event is open to the public and will feature autographs with Waltrip, music, food and fun.
“It’s going to be a fun day for me to interact with all the race fans and thank them for all the support through the years.” said Waltrip. We have had a fan appreciation day for many years and so many of my fans have asked me to keep it going so that’s why I’m holding this open house.”
In addition to meeting Waltrip, fans will have the opportunity to buy unique racing memorabilia, grab food at a taco food truck and listen to music by country music star Tim Duggar. Fans can also view Waltrip’s muscle car collection and see some of his prized race cars.
The fan appreciation day is at 20310 Chartwell Center Drive off exit 28 on I-77 in Cornelius, N.C. about 15 miles north of Charlotte, N.C. The event is free to the public.
