Quin Houff excited for return to the Midwest at Lucas Oil Raceway

Quin Houff made his debut at Lucas Oil Raceway last July when he competed in the ARCA/CRA Super Series Circle City 100. After earning a strong 6th place finish at the .686-mile Indianapolis, Indiana track, Quin was certain to include a return visit to the Midwest when planning his 2016 schedule.

Following last year’s event Quin commented “It was such a different racing style with completely different lines and speeds than what I’m used to. I wasn’t sure about how we would do. I definitely didn’t think we would climb up to finish sixth. The racing was something new and it was a cool place. I want to go back and see what we can build on with that experience!”

Quin’s second start at Lucas Oil Raceway is set for this Friday, July 22 as the ARCA/CRA Super Series returns for the Circle City 100 presented by CSX Play It Safe. Teams will have two practice sessions in the afternoon, followed by qualifying at 4:30pm. The green flag for the 100-lap race is scheduled for 7:00pm.

One of just 7 drivers selected for this year’s Kulwicki Driver Development Program (KDDP), Quin is competing full time on the CARS Super Late Model Tour in addition to running in a select schedule of additional Late Model events throughout the year. The CARS Tour reached the midway point of it’s 2016 season at their most recent race in June, with Quin having earned one win, two top five and five top ten finishes in five races. He is currently tied for 3rd in the driver point standings.
