Scott Adams Earns Victory at Evergreen Raceway

Scott Adams of Lake Ariel, PA took to the hot and sticky 1/3-mile asphalt oval Sunday at Evergreen Raceway with one thing on his mind. Winning. After taking the qualifier victory earlier in the afternoon, Adams started from the pole and wired the field in his #68 WARRANT/FireHouse Chevy Monte Carlo. It was his second win of the season, but unlike his first, Adams had to hold off Charlie Castiglione to the checkers.

“The car was actually really good today”, noted Adams, who has had some bad luck in his last few outings.

“The last two weeks were pretty horrible. We just had some odd stuff break, things that don’t normally happen.”

Adams and his Himmer Graphics Racing team will be back in Sunday at Evergreen Raceway with hopes of returning to victory lane.

“We’ll see what the weekend bring, but that’s the plan for now.Although we won’t be at Mahoning Valley Speedway this Saturday, our goal is to race as much as possible. My supporters deserve that and they deserve to be in victory lane.”

Those supporters include FireHouse, WARRANT, Himmer Graphics Shultz Fabrication, NJB Trucking, MD Adams Winery, S&D Bodyline, Wheels Bar & Grill, Marchets Garage and Tyler Jett Motorsports Marketing.
