Brady Boswell Ready for High Speeds at Michigan International Speedway

One week after earning his best ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards finish of fifth at the Pocono Raceway, Brady Boswell driver of the No. 98 Chevrolet for Mason Mitchell Motorsports (MMM) gears up for his first trip to the 2.0 mile Michigan International Speedway (MIS).

“we definitely have a lot of momentum going into MIS,” Boswell stated. “I feel really good about how the team has come together each race. I think we will have a strong racecar and be able to compete for the win.”

“Practice is vital at MIS for me since It’s my first time racing there. I will need to adapt quickly to the track and give detailed information to the team so we can get the car as fast as possible. Patience is also very important at faster racetracks so that you will keep the car under you and have a chance for the win at the end of the day.”

Boswell and crew chief Mason Mitchell stretched the fuel mileage at Pocono last week and were rewarded with a fifth place finish.

Friday with mark the 19-year-old’s fifth ARCA start of the 2016 season. Along with racing this weekend at MIS, Boswell will race at Iowa, Lucas Oil Raceway, Kentucky and then closeout the season at the Kansas Speedway.

The rookie driver will be back behind the same machine that re raced to a fifth place finish last weekend at Pocono chassis No. 588.

Fans will be able to watch Boswell’s race from April at the Salem Speedway, Thursday, June 9th at 7:00 p.m. EST on the American Sports Network. If your cable provider doesn’t have the channel you can stream live at http://www.americansportsnet.com

Last Time Out: Brady Boswell stretched the fuel tank and finished a career best fifth at the Pocono Raceway after starting 15th. Teammate Noah Gragson qualified in sixth but problems struck as a burnt rear gear sidelined Gragson for 53 laps in the garage. Gragson returned to the track to finish 30th.

Two practice sessions get things going for this year’s Corrigan Oil 200 Thursday afternoon, June 9 from 1:00 p.m. to 1:55 p.m., followed by final practice from 2:05 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Menards Pole Qualifying presented by Ansell is scheduled for Friday morning at 1:40 p.m. Fans will be able to watch the Corrigan Oil 200 live on Fox Sports 1 Friday as the green flag at approximately 5:45 p.m.
