The cars of the CARS Pro Cup Series and the UARA Late Model Series roar into Rockingham Speedway Thursday, Nov. 3 for practice for Saturday’s running of the American 200.
The UARA Late Models will begin their first practice session at noon with the Pro Cup to follow at 1 p.m. Practice will continue until 3:50 p.m.
Friday, Nov. 4 will be pole day for both series. Both series will have practice sessions beginning at 10:30 a.m. with qualifying getting underway for the UARA at 3:00 p.m. to be followed by Pro Cup at 3:45.
Spectators are invited to come watch for free on Thursday and Friday.
The green flag falls on the American 200 at noon on Saturday, Nov. 5 at noon with the UARA Late Models. The Pro Cup race gets underway 30 minutes after the conclusion of the UARA race.
“We are going to crown a couple of champions on Saturday and our fans are going to see some great racing,” said Rockingham Speedway President Andy Hillenburg. “These two series put on a great show and you definitely don’t want to miss it.”
Great seats are still available for the American 200 at Rockingham Speedway. Tickets are $15 in advance at $20 at the gate.
After the American 200, the Frank Kimmel Street Stock Nationals (FKSSN) hit the one-mile oval on November 26 for the fourth-annual Polar Bear 150.
NASCAR returns to Rockingham on April 15, 2012 for the Camping World Truck Series Good Sam Club Roadside Assistance 200.
