Jesse Iwuji steady as she goes in the 3rd K&N West race

Iwuji finishes 15th at Tucson. Jesse Iwuji and his #36 Red List Group Chevrolet team made their maiden voyage to Tucson Speedway in the NAPA Auto Parts Wildcat 150, the third stop of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West season.

Iwuji and crew unloaded the car and qualified 16th with a time of 16.977 seconds around the .375 mile short track. When the race went green, Iwuji kept the car clean, ran 146 of the 150 laps and finished a respectable 15th in his first trip to the Arizona race track.

Iwuji, 28, has successfully run all three races in the 2016 K&N Pro Series West season. He currently sits 14th in points and 5th in Rookie of the Year standings. Iwuji so far this season has completed each race a goal he set before the season.

Jesse, reflecting on the first three races, says “I’m really happy with the 3 for 3 starts this season finishing all my races. It’s given me the opportunity to log much needed race laps.” The goal for the Red List Group team going forwards is to keep up the solid finishes and keep Jesse on track to learn more behind the wheel.

Iwuji would like to thank his sponsors for supporting him in his endeavors. The Red List Group, LLC, PurOL USA, ATL Fuel Cells, Porterfield Brakes, DJ Safety, Rugged Radios, Sherwin WIlliams, Wax 4 Dads, The Joie of Seating, Angel 7 Industries, Iracing and Houston Motorsports
