Brandon Lynn Happy with Top-10 Salem Speedway Finish

Brandon Lynn, driver of the No. 36 Cribs Creek Outfitters Ford Fusion, was able to rally for an eighth place finish in the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200 at Salem Speedway.

The team struggled through qualifying and practice on Saturday, but they remained hopeful for the race this weekend. After fighting loose conditions in the beginning of the race, Lynn was able to pit under caution for fresh tires and adjustments.

“I’m really happy overall with the weekend,” Lynn said. We had a tough start at the beginning with a loose car, but the team put their heads together and got it to where we needed it. It was fixed and we made our way into the top 10.”

It was a really good points day for the No. 36 team as well. Lynn is now tied for third overall in the ARCA Racing Series points standings.

“I can’t thank my guys enough for their hard work this weekend,” Brandon said. “I couldn’t do it without them. Yeah, we didn’t have the best qualifying run or practice times, but we managed to work together and get the setup where we needed it to be. I couldn’t do any of this without my team, the Lira’s, my family, and my friends being there to support me. I want to thank Cribs Creek, Safecraft, Traqgear, and MOMO Motorsport for their support of the team as well.”

After a successful weekend in Salem, Lynn is looking forward to his first career Talladega Super Speedway start.

“I am so excited about making my first career Talladega start. It’s something to really talk about when you get to race on the biggest oval that any series races on. I loved racing at Daytona and the feeling, I’m sure, will be mutual on Friday. There’s nothing quite like drafting at almost 200 miles per hour.”
