Clayton Weatherman Set For ARCA Test With Lira Motorsports

Lira Motorsports is excited to announce the addition of Clayton Weatherman to their growing ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards driver roster. The sixteen-year old racer is set to participate in a test the team has planned in November, in preparation for several ARCA Racing Series starts he is planning on making for the team in 2016.

Clayton is the younger brother of ARCA Series 2015 Rookie Challenge points leader, Kyle Weatherman. Driving for their family-owned team, Weatherman Motorsports, Clayton made three ARCA Series starts himself in 2015. He brought home top fifteen finishes in all three races, with a best finish of 8th at Salem Speedway in April.
 
Clayton is a Legends Racing veteran, with over six years of experience, five National INEX Legends Championships and over 135 victories to his name. Clayton has also won the prestigious Summer Legends Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway and is equally adapt at racing on pavement, dirt and road course layouts in a variety of vehicles.
 
In their first year of ARCA Racing Series competition, Lira Motorsports claimed two wins, six Hard Charger Awards, three Rookie of the Race Awards, and a total of 22 top ten finishes. The team has marketing partnerships available for their 2016 ARCA Racing Series program.
