ARCA: Mason Mitchell Captures Kansas Win, Grant Enfinger Secures 2015 Title

Mason Mitchell captured his third career ARCA Racing Series win on Friday at the Kansas Speedway. Mitchell used strategy by making his last pit stop on lap 28. He then was able to manage his tires over the duration of the race that would later take him to the win by passing race leader John Wes Townley with seven laps to go.

Kyle Weatherman took home the runner-up finish behind the wheel of the No. 22 Crosley Brands Dodge for Cunningham Motorsports. Weatherman took home his 10th top five and 13th top 10 finish of the racing season. The 17-year old driver from Missouri also finished the year with one victory and three poles.

Grant Enfinger had a night to remember as he wheeled his No. 23 Champion Power Equipment Chevrolet to a third-place finish. Enfinger also secured the 2015 ARCA Racing Series championship for the first time of his career. The Alabama driver finished the year with six victories, 15 top five and 16 top 10 finishes.

Daniel Suarez had a tough night despite starting the 99-lap event on the pole. Suarez got into some trouble when a tire on his No. 55 Toyota went down. The Mexico native would later finish in the 20th position.

Ryan Reed came a little short of scoring his third ARCA Racing Series win of the year. Reed suffered a speeding penalty early on in the race that had set him and his team back. The California native came back to salvage a fourth-place finish in his No. 38 Ford.

The ARCA Racing Series will go now prepare for the 2016 ARCA Racing Series season. The series will kick-off their 64th season at Daytona in February.
