Blake Jones Excited For Return To Lira Motorsports In The Federated Auto Parts 200

Blake Jones is returning to Lira Motorsports this weekend for his next start in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards. This will be the second time this year that the Talladega race winner has teamed up with Lira Motorsports. The 18-year-old will pilot the number 58 Ford Fusion in the Federated Auto Parts 200 at Berlin Raceway on Saturday, August 8th.

In the #ThisIsMySpeedway150 at Iowa Speedway in July, Blake’s previous start with the team, he raced to a 7th place finish. That was his second top ten finish in four career ARCA Series starts. Blake won the International Motorsports Hall of Fame 200 at Talladega Superspeedway earlier this year.

Asphalt Services of TN (asphaltservicesoftn.com) and the Blake Jones Racing Center (blakejonesracingcenter.com) will return as primary sponsors on Blake’s car for the Federated Auto Parts 200. Additionally, season-long Lira Motorsports sponsors Momo, Ford Performance and TraqGear will serve as associate sponsors on his number 58 Ford Fusion.

Blake Jones on racing at Berlin Speedway: “It’s exciting to get another opportunity to race with Carlos Lira and Crew Chief Teddy Brown at Lira Motorsports. I’m really excited to run a short track, because that’s where I’ve raced most of my career.  Also, to have the opportunity to be the first two-time winner of this year’s first time winners in ARCA would be crazy cool! I really believe that with Teddy Brown leading this team, we will have a good chance to make it happen.  Thank you God for this opportunity, as well as my family and sponsors! Wow, I’m overcome with joy!”

Get Blake’s autograph at the track: There is an on-track autograph session scheduled from 8:00-8:30pm. Stop by, say ‘hi’, and be sure to get one of Blake’s new Lira Motorsports hero cards!
