The International Hot Rod Association™ (IHRA) and Castrol Raceway announced the cancellation of today’s on-track activity due to inclement weather.
The Mopar Rocky Mountain Nationals presented by Good Vibrations will resume tomorrow and continue through Sunday. Sunny skies are in the forecast for the remainder of the Nitro Jam weekend.
The weekend schedule has been adjusted slightly due to today’s cancellation. Three Nitro Jam qualifying sessions will now take place tomorrow, Saturday, July 18. The first session is scheduled for 3 p.m., followed by two more at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Sportsman qualifying and eliminations will take place throughout the day. Tickets purchased for today’s event are valid for Saturday admission. Spectators need to maintain their proof of purchase (ticket stub and wristbands) in order to attend the event. No refunds will be issued.
