Enfinger’s Speed Continued at Talladega Superspeedway

Grant Enfinger, driver of the No. 23 Beasley Allen Lawyers/ Alamo Rent-a-car Chevrolet earned a 28th-place result after a wreck in the late stages of the International Motorsports Hall of Fame 200 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway. Enfinger remained a top contender for the majority of the race, battling inside the top five for the most of the event. The Fairhope A.L., native was left without a drafting partner and slipped outside the top 10. While racing three-wide, Enfinger’s No. 23 Beasley Allen Lawyer/ Alamo Rent-A-Car Chevrolet was clipped in the left-rear quarter panel and involved in an accident. The incident relegated Enfinger to a 28th-place finish. Enfinger will continue his quest for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards championship in two weeks at Toledo (Ohio) Speedway on May 17th.

GRANT ENFINGER QUOTE:
“I cannot thank everyone at GMS Racing enough for their hard work this week. It was a rough ending to the night but that just puts more steam to the fire for us to take to Toledo. A big thank you to our sponsors Beasley Allen Lawyers, Alamo Rent-A-Car, WURTH USA and Allegiant Travel for everything they do for our program. On one of those late restarts, we just got shuffled to the outside lane and left without any help. Once you get in that position, it can be difficult to recover from if you can’t find a hole to slip in line. Our GMS Racing team has brought fast racecars to the track each week, and we’ll try and get back up front at Toledo.”
