Cole Powell Returns to ARCA Competition

To kick off the 2015 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards season, Cole Powell will return to the series with Team BCR Racing and Development Team for the Lucas Oil 200 presented by AutoZone.

Team Manager and Crew Chief, Howard Bixman stated, “We’re excited to welcome Cole to the team and I’m looking forward to working with him. He’s a talented driver on the track and a respectful person off the track.”

Powell made his ARCA Racing Series debut in 2014 at Daytona International Speedway, running in the top-10 during both practice sessions, but unfortunately was involved in a multi-car incident early in the race. The Canadian driver will return to the “World Center of Racing” with Team BCR Racing piloting the No. 88 Tricar Group, Casite.com Ford Fusion with his goals set on nothing short of capturing the checkered flag.

“Considering Team BCR won the 2014 Lucas Oil 200, I know I’m in a great position to finish off strong in this race,” says 22-year-old driver, Cole Powell. “I have to thank Joe Carapella from The Tricar Group for their support to run at Daytona and move forward with my racing career. As well as Howard Bixman and the rest of the crew at Team BCR.”
