Rolex and Formula 1® Return to the Sunshine State

Formula 1® returns to the vibrant city of Miami, Florida, from Friday, May 3–Sunday, May 5 for the third edition of the Grand Prix™. The 2024 season is off to an exciting start as the pinnacle of motor sport continues to captivate spectators across the world. Rolex has been a Global Partner and the Official Timepiece of Formula 1® since 2013 as part of its deep-rooted connection with the sport, its drivers and their machines as they strive for perfect harmony.

Looking ahead to this week’s race, Rolex Testimonee and multiple Formula 1® Grand Prix™ winner Mark Webber says:

On Sunday, May 5 Miami will host the sixth race of the Formula 1® season. The Miami International Autodrome is a one-of-a-kind street circuit, with the Hard Rock Stadium at its epicentre and the Team Village uniquely situated on the football field. The 19-corner, 3.36 mile (5.41 kilometre) track has been designed to encourage close racing during the 57-lap Grand Prix™ and to create incredible spectator experiences, with the three-day event set to attract up to 300,000 enthusiasts. Formula 1® has firmly established itself on the US motor sport calendar, with the series also traveling to the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, and to Las Vegas, Nevada, later this year.

Formula 1® continues to reach new heights in performance and entertainment, with 24 races across five continents scheduled for this year. Present at all Grands Prix™ will be the Rolex Pit Lane Clock, symbolic of the importance of timing and precision in motor sport.
