Power paces second Pocono practice

Penske Racing driver Will Power was quickest in the second IndyCar practice today with a speed of 223.348 mph.  Power has shown recent strength at ovals, finishing second at Texas last month and winning from the pole at Fontana in the finale last season.

Andretti Autosport driver and IndyCar rookie Carlos Munoz was a nice surprise in the second practice by posting the second fastest time.  He and Power were the only two drivers to crack the 223 mph barrier in practice.

Munoz won last year’s Indy Lights race at Pocono as Power was the highest finishing Chevrolet driver in the 2013 Pocono IndyCar 400 with a fourth-place finish

Tony Kanaan, who led the first practice, was third, followed by Graham Rahal and Helio Castroneves to round out the top five.
