Greenville-Pickens Speedway…Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) heads to Greenville-Pickens Speedway on March 22 for the fourth race of the 2014 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (NKNPSE) season, the Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 150. TSM is coming off a race that saw two of their five entries (Ben Rhodes and Brandon Jones) capture top-10 finishes at Bristol Motor Speedway. TSM kept up their fast starts to race weekends as Ben Rhodes captured the 21 Means 21 pole award, making TSM three-for-three in their NKNPSE qualifying efforts this season. TSM looks to capitalize at a track where they found success last fall, as 2013 NKNPSE Champion Dylan Kwasniewski was able to take home the victory in the second race of the season at Greenville-Pickens Speedway. Three TSM drivers (Kaz Grala, Brandon Jones and Cameron Hayley) will be making their first-career starts at Greenville-Pickens Speedway this weekend.
Kaz Grala…Grala looks to get back on track with the Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 150 after an eventful day last weekend at Bristol. Grala was able to salvage a top-20 finish at Bristol, even after suffering damage in the race and losing several laps as the OzLINK team made repairs to his racecar. Grala heads to Greenville-Pickens Speedway looking to capture his third top-10 finish of the season, as he makes his first-ever start at the track. The 15-year-old comes into Greenville-Pickens sitting 11th in the NKNPSE Driver Point Standings.
Kaz Grala on Greenville-Pickens Speedway:
“The test at Greenville-Pickens Speedway a few weeks ago went really well for us and should help me with this weekend’s race. The No. 31 OzLINK Chevrolet feels strong in both qualifying and race trim, so I think we will have a good race on Saturday.”
Brandon Jones…Jones is coming off his second top-10 finish of 2014, and is looking to maintain the momentum gained by his No. 33 Wolfpack Energy Services team at Bristol. While Jones made six starts in 2013 with TSM in the NKNPSE, none of the starts were at Greenville-Pickens Speedway, so this weekend will mark the first time the 17-year-old will compete at Greenville in the series. Jones will look to tally his third top-10 finish of the season and put together another solid points day as he comes into the Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 150 sitting ninth in the NKNPSE Driver Point Standings.
Brandon Jones on Greenville-Pickens Speedway:
“I’m really looking forward to heading into Greenville-Pickens Speedway this weekend with my No. 33 Wolfpack Energy Services Chevrolet team. We tested there a few weeks ago, and I’m feeling very confident that my crew chief Shane Huffman and the rest of my team will give me a car that we can go out and win with.”
Scott Heckert…Heckert comes into Greenville-Pickens this weekend looking to regain some of the momentum that he lost in Bristol. Heckert has two-career starts at Greenville-Pickens Speedway, both coming in 2013, with a best finish of 18th. Heckert and his No. 34 Turner Scott Motorsports team hope to improve upon his 2013 results as they look for a solid finish in the Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 150 this weekend. Heckert sits 20th in the NKNPSE Driver Point Standings heading into Greenville-Pickens Speedway.

“We were pretty good when we tested here a few weeks ago, so I’m excited for the race. At Greenville-Pickens Speedway, it’s all about conserving tires, so we will focus on that aspect of the race and try to put together a great run in the event.”
Ben Rhodes…Rhodes is coming off a terrific performance at Bristol Motor Speedway that saw him lead 130 of the 132 laps completed, en route to a third-place finish. Rhodes made one start a year ago at Greeville-Pickens Speedway while running a part-time schedule with TSM. In that start, Rhodes was able to capture a top-10 finish, bringing home a sixth-place result. Rhodes will look to improve upon that finish and keep up the momentum that the No. 41 Alpha Energy Solutions Chevrolet has maintained throughout the early portions of the 2014 season. The NASCAR Next driver comes into Greenville-Pickens Speedway sitting third in the NKNPSE Driver Point Standings.

“Last week, we tested at the track and found some things that will help us in qualifying and during the race. My crew chief Mark McFarland and the entire No. 41 Alpha Energy Solutions team worked on the car to get us fast during the test, and I am really looking forward to heading back to Greenville-Pickens to see what we can do. We’ve had a great year so far, and we hope to carry the momentum from the first three races into Greenville-Pickens Speedway this weekend and get into victory lane.”
Cameron Hayley…Hayley comes into the Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 150 looking to regain some of the early-season momentum the team had from the Florida swing. Hayley and the No. 98 Cabinets by Hayley Chevrolet team are coming off a race in Bristol in which they sustained damage late in the race that hurt their opportunity for a top-10 finish. Hayley will make his first-career start at Greenville-Pickens Speedway this weekend, and looks to capture his second top-10 finish of the year. The NASCAR Next driver enters the Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 150 fifth in the NKNPSE Driver Point Standings.
Cameron Hayley on Greenville-Pickens Speedway:
“Greenville will be one of the toughest races of the year. ‘Tires’ will be the word of the race, as this track eats them up throughout the course of a race weekend. We learned a lot when we tested there a few weeks back, particularly how hard we can drive the car. Overall, I think we have a very fast No. 98 Cabinets by Hayley Chevrolet and I’m ready to go get a win.”
