Kerry Earnhardt and Schumacher Homes Open New Model Homes and Design Studio in Mooresville, NC

Schumacher Homes, America’s largest custom homebuilder, announced the opening of three new model homes and design studios in Mooresville, N.C. featuring two new designs from the award-winning Earnhardt Collection™.

The Earnhardt Collection™, a Schumacher Homes collaboration with Kerry and René Earnhardt, originally launched with more than 25 customizable floor plans in October 2011. The Mooresville, N.C. location offers the most recent Earnhardt Collection™ model homes to be built since Schumacher opened the Blue Ridge model in Asheville, N.C. in 2012. The Blue Ridge design received the Gold National Design Award for Home of the Year in 2013.

The Catawba is one of the new offerings from the Earnhardt Collection™. This design is a 2520 square-foot, one-story home with three bedrooms, two full baths and an expansive living area that includes a great room, morning room and kitchen area all tastefully combined together for a great gathering place for family and friends. The second design on display is not really a home at all, but a state of the art design studio designed with the exterior of the Pikes Peak from the Earnhardt Collection™.

“This is what it’s all about,” said Kerry Earnhardt, older brother to JR Motorsports’ Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kelley Earnhardt Miller. “The Earnhardt Collection™ is inspired by my family’s values of what home means to us. Schumacher Homes is a family company and shares in those same values. It means a lot to me and René that they selected our hometown to build this incredible facility.”

These custom homes will be on display at Schumacher Homes’ new Mooresville location at 341 Alcove Road, Mooresville, N.C. 28117 off I-77 at exit 31 – the Langtree exit. Schumacher Homes has more than 30 model homes at various locations throughout the United States, but these are the first to be developed specifically for the Charlotte market.
