Forty Customers Have A Chance To Win A 2012 Ford Focus

If Ford wins three major racing championships, 40 consumers will take home an all-new 2012 Ford Focus.

That’s the simple premise behind a new national, on-line sweepstakes that launches today at www.Ford40MPG.com, and features the all-new, 2012 Ford Focus.

If Ford Racing drivers win the NASCAR Sprint Cup championship, the NHRA Funny Car championship, and the World Rally Championship, 40 lucky fans who have entered the sweepstakes will be randomly selected to win the new Focus, which is EPA-certified at 40 mpg.

“It’s simple.  If we win, 40 consumers win as well,” said Jamie Allison, director, Ford Racing.  “This is a great opportunity for our fans to keep track of our efforts at winning championships in the top three series we compete in, and also to learn more about the great, fun-to-drive, fuel-efficient 2012 Ford Focus.”

At least one fan will win a 2012 Focus as part of the sweepstakes, and for each of the five months the contest is open, 40 fans will be randomly selected and will be awarded with The Works Fuel Saver Package that can be redeemed at their local Ford/Lincoln Dealerships and Quick Lane Tire & Auto Centers.

Fans can register for the sweepstakes at www.Ford40MPG.com, as well as at select Ford Racing trackside displays during the 2011 season.   The new website features information about the all-new 2012 Focus, and fans will also be able to view special webisodes featuring some of Ford Racing’s top drivers interacting with the new car.

The sweepstakes runs from June 4 to October 31, 2011, and for the length of the sweepstakes, fans can follow Ford40mpg.com for a leaderboard of statistics on each Ford Racing driver as they try to make their way to their series championship, ending at Ford Championship Weekend, November 18-20 in Miami, Florida.
