Kostecki started on the outside pole and battled veteran and pole sitter Clay Rogers, as well as NASCAR series regular Ty Dillon, UARA regular Ben Rhodes, and Ronnie Bassett, Jr., before taking the lead permanently on lap 60.
“I’m so excited to win my first race in the UARA-Stars series,” commented Kostecki with a big smile, “We definitely couldn’t have done it without Arcoplate, our sponsor, and the help of Torco Oil, K9 Companions, or our hard working team.”
Brodie Kostecki has been racing since age four. In Australia, he competed in go-karts and in 2011 made his USAC series debut. At the age of 15, he has now moved to Mooresville, NC to pursue his racing passion. Kostecki will be running the full UARA series as well as several NASCAR K&N East Pro Series races.
