GMS Racing announced today it will not appeal the penalty issued against the No. 2 team of Sheldon Creed from the race at Eldora Speedway. Darren Fraley will serve as interim crew chief for Jeff Stankiewicz for the next three NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series races at Michigan International Speedway, Bristol Motor Speedway and Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
Fraley was previously an engineer at GMS Racing in 2018 and helped Justin Haley earn three wins, nine top-five and 18 top-10 finishes en route to competing in the Championship Four at Homestead-Miami Speedway. He also served as crew chief for Jordan Anderson at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway earlier this year.
