FOX NASCAR QUOTES:

ALAN CAVANNA SAYS SATURDAY’S NASCAR GANDER OUTDOORS TRUCK SERIES RACE AT POCONO COULD PRODUCE A NEW WINNER:
“This race comes at the perfect time because it truly feels like a wildcard. No one in the field has won a Truck Series race at Pocono before. So, the race is wide open. Anyone without a checkered flag this season is worried about the Playoff picture at this time. So, there are plenty of reasons for several teams to take risks this weekend.”

LARRY MCREYNOLDS SAYS THE NO. 4 TEAM AND KEVIN HARVICK WON LAST WEEK AT NEW HAMPSHIRE WHEN IT COUNTED:
“We don’t know what went on behind closed doors, but from the outside, it looked like ice water was running through their veins. They kept it business as usual, knowing that if they had fast race cars, the wins would come. They didn’t have the fastest car, but they got the win. They still need to clean up the execution issue that SHR has been suffering across the board. But Harvick could win three more races this season.”

MCREYNOLDS SEES A GOOD MATCH WITH RYAN NEWMAN AND THE NO. 6 TEAM:
“It was a pretty dismal year last year for the No. 6. The No. 6 was exactly what Ryan Newman needed, and Ryan Newman was exactly what the No. 6 car needed. Scott Graves and Ryan Newman are a package that has elevated the entire organization’s program.”

MICHAEL WALTRIP SEES SIGNIFICANT CONFIDENCE IN THE NO. 4 TEAM, DESPITE THE WINLESS STREAK LEADING INTO NEW HAMPSHIRE:
“There’s a lot of confidence in that group. Kevin Harvick knows they have the speed to win week in and week out. And Rodney Childers put an exclamation point on that.”

MCREYNOLDS SAYS HARVICK’S WIN PROVED SOMETHING AFTER 2018 ISSUES:
“That win meant a lot for several reasons. In their last win at Texas last November, there was the black cloud of the post-race penalty. They hadn’t won a race free of issues since Michigan last August. This win meant a lot because they feel like they finally executed and closed the deal.”
