BEN RHODES DRIVES TO SECOND AT TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY

“We pretty much had to start dead last after scuffing the wall in qualifying. I was disappointed in that [starting position], but really proud of how our team rallied and put this Carolina Nut Co. Ford F-150 up in second place. Overall, this race was all about track position and managing restarts, managing pit stops. I feel like we were better than where we finished tonight. We just burnt the tires up, but a lot of people were blocking tonight. It was just a weird race how it all played out. We’re going to do the best we can to keep on pursuing the owner’s championship.”

MATT CRAFTON MAKES IT 12TH TOP-10 OF 2018 SEASON

“Overall, we had a fast Ideal Door / Menards Ford F-150. We were in the top-five or top-10 for the majority of the race, which helped with stage points. It wasn’t the night we wanted, but we’ll move on to Phoenix looking to lock us into the Championship 4 with a win.”

GRANT ENFINGER FINISHES 12TH AT TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY

“A little disappointed tonight because we’ve got to run for stage points. It just killed us in our track position. We just got held up by a lot of slow trucks at the beginning of the start, and that’s on me. We spotted everybody a straightaway or so, and just played catch up after that. I feel like we might’ve had one of the best trucks here, and we just didn’t take advantage of it. We were in position to run second or third there at the end and we just ran out of gas. It’s not really a testament to our entire year. We’ll have to go to Phoenix and win the race.”

MYATT SNIDER SHOWCASES STRENGTH AT TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY

“ThorSport Racing brought me a fantastic Century Container Ford F-150. We thought we had the right strategy there, and it was working for us in the second stage, but unfortunately it didn’t pan out for us for the final stage. We came really close there – I thought we would’ve had it but just barely missed it on the pit strategy. I’m proud of everybody on the team for bringing such a strong truck. I think this shows for our team. It’s to where we should have been running all year – things are starting to jive, and I’m really proud of this team.”
