Matt Mills on Friday’s Race at Texas Motor Speedway: “We fired off alright,” said Mills. “We tried to do a strategy that didn’t pay off how we hoped. From there I struggled to get a handle of the truck and got a in a hole going laps down. We just didn’t have the speed we needed, and we will move on to Kansas.”

The qualifying session that followed left Mills with a 20^th-place starting spot for Friday night’s race at Texas Motor Speedway. Mills and team ran a clean race, ultimately crossing the finish line in 26^th.
