Scott Riggs made his debut with the No. 92 Ricky Benton Racing (RBR) Enterprises Chevrolet Silverado in the 2012 running of the Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway. The veteran driver piloted the truck to a season-best fifth-place finish.
While Riggs and the RBR team has struggled to find the same success on the track this year – an 11th-place at Charlotte being the best finish to date – the driver is hopefully a return to Martinsville will give the team its first top 10 of the year.
“This has been a great track for me in this series,” said Riggs, who scored a win at the track in 2001. “We have a good truck for this weekend. These guys have been working hard to get us a good piece to the track and I’m excited about the opportunity to drive it.”
CARQUEST and WORLDPAC return to the truck this week as primary sponsors.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have CARQUEST and WORLDPAC on the truck at Martinsville,” said Ricky Benton, owner of RBR Enterprises and BTS Tire and Wheel Distributors, which will serve as an associate sponsor this week. “They have served as great partners and suppliers in our core business (at BTS Tire and Wheel Distributors) and I hope we can get a good finish for them at Martinsville.”
Goodyear FleetHQ will also be on the truck as an associate sponsor.
