Ryan Blaney (@RyanBlaney22), driver of the No. 29 Cooper Standard Ford F-150, will make his second career start at Kentucky Speedway in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) during Thursday night’s UNOH 225.
Last year in Blaney’s inaugural NCWTS start at Kentucky Speedway during the Kentucky 201, Blaney started 16th and finished 11th after leading 13 laps.
Cooper Standard will have over 500 employees in the grandstands to cheer on the No. 29 team on Thursday evening. Doug Randolph will lead the No. 29 Ford F-Series team as crew chief in Kentucky.
The No. 29 BKR team currently sits seventh in the NCWTS drivers point standings, 53 points back from the lead.
“I’ve been looking forward to this race at Kentucky. Similar to the rest of the SMI 1.5 mile tracks on the Truck circuit, this place is fast and it’s fun to race at. Our guys have been working really hard on our Kentucky package and I’m excited to get there and test it out.” – Ryan Blaney
